~ FCC Approves Eligible Services List ~

The Form 471 filing window will open at noon on Wednesday, November 7, 2007 and will close at 11:59 PM EST on Thursday, January 24, 2008 (14 days earlier than last year.) The FCC also approved the Year 11 Eligible Services List and I will be summarizing the changes in a subsequent e-mail and during tomorrow's E-rate Update for Veterans webinar - to register, go to http://www.e-ratepa.org/training_outreach.htm.

Please remember that you don’t have to wait until the Form 471 window opens to file your Form 470, Request for Services Form. Please post your Form 470 as soon as possible and don’t wait until the last possible minute. The last possible day (technically) to post a Form 470 is December 27, 2007. Don't wait this long!  If you do, you will only have a few hours after your 28 day waiting period has ended to select your service providers, enter into service arrangements, have all contracts signed and dated by both parties, and file your Form 471 by the close of the filing window.  I strongly encourage everyone to post their 470's by Thanksgiving.
