SLC RELEASES FACT SHEET ON DETERMINING E-RATE DISCOUNTS
The Schools and Libraries Corporation has released a Fact Sheet to assist schools and libraries in determining discount calculations for the purposes of completing Form 471, Block 4, Number 14.
The information contained in the Fact Sheet is basically the same as what is described in the Form 471 instructions, but presented in a clear, concise manner to further illustrate the required calculations. It contains steps and chart illustrations for calculating the following examples: a school, a school district, a library branch, a library system, a consortium comprising multiple school districts, a consortium comprising school districts and nonpublic schools, and a consortium comprising school districts and library systems.
